Medical Billing Concepts (MBC) was founded in 2004 by Julie Albright after spending 16 years as the Physician Practice Director for Decatur Morgan Hospital. In that capacity she managed multiple medical practices under the umbrella of Decatur Morgan Hospital, including oversight of the billing departments and clinical practices within the offices. Julie is also a licensed Registered Nurse and Certified Professional Coder.
Julie’s combined knowledge and experience in healthcare, healthcare administration, and medical billing allows MBC to provide efficient, effective services to the healthcare provider. MBC is equipped and trained in multiple medical billing software programs GPMS, Flex Medical, and cloud base EHR Collaborative, and Practice Fusion.
Medical Billing Concepts offers services such as credentialing, enrollment, coding, charge entry, resolving denied claims, and more. MBC also advises healthcare staff on various methods to improve efficiency on the front-end; thus, saving costs that might otherwise accumulate on the back-end.
MBC aims to provide quality medical billing services to healthcare providers and practices by offering the experience of a large billing service but with the personalized individual focus of a small service.
